Heart Failure
As per the Global Burden of Disease Study, it is estimated that there are 64.3 million people with heart failure worldwide. The heart is a powerful muscle which pumps blood to the whole body. Heart failure does not mean that the heart has failed and stopped working. Heart failure means that the heart is not able to pump blood to the body and oxygen to various parts of the body as per the requirements. Heart failure may occur due to weakness or stiffness of heart muscles, leakage or narrowing of heart valves and abnormal heart rhythms.
At Dhadkan, we have treated more than 8000 patients with medicines that prolong life and improve the quality
of life. Our heart failure rehabilitation program includes fluid, salt, weight, diet and exercise interventions. We also offer options of angioplasty, pacemakers, implantable cardiac defibrillators, cardiac resynchronisation therapy, bypass surgery, valve replacement and heart transplant to select few patients who would benefit from these therapies.
